The Pit Golf Links
Centrally located minutes south of the Village of Pinehurst
on Hwy 5
The history of the critically acclaimed Pit Golf Links is nearly as remarkable as the course itself. Since the early 1920’s, this 230-acre site had been mined, excavated and left to the unpredictable forces of nature. Architect Dan Maples discovered this piece of land not far from where he grew up and saw in it the makings of a truly extraordinary golf course.
The Pit has been been rated 4 stars and as one of the Top 50 courses in America open to the public, by Golf Digest.
